Resumen

¿Que pueden ofrecerles Chesterton y Tolkien a la práctica y al pensamiento políticos contemporáneos? Este ensayo argumenta que ambos comparten un proyecto común: encontrar una manera de reconocer el valor de lo local y lo personal. Esto tiene implicaciones para nuestra respuesta a la crisis ambiental y para la manera en que relacionamos lo uno y lo múltiple. Las fuentes del pensamiento de Chesterton (el socialismo Anglo-Católico y gremial y el Distributismo de Hilaire Belloc) son discutidos, así como las raíces de esta antropología política  en una teología de la creación como arte y don.
