A Commentary to Alan Arias’ “Thesis on a Critical Theory about Human Rights”

Abstract
This article is a commentary on the thesis that Alan Arias presents in his “Thesis on a Critical Theory about Human Rights”. On the first place those thesis are contextualized on the basis of the Marx idea of “egalitarian struggle”. On the second part, the author focuses on the socio-cultural elements of Human Rights, especially in three: 1) cultural conducts based on classist, racist on individualistic perspectives, 2) the role of intellectuals and heroes and 3) institutions of cultural transmission.
