Abstract

On anuary of this year we had the visit at the Center for Advanced Social Research  (CISAV) of Juan Carlos Scannone, SJ, a well-known Argentine theologian and philosopher, who was in Mexico on the occasion of some academic commitments in the City of Mexico and Guadalajara. After a general meeting with CISAV researchers, where he openly discussed various topics of the contemporary Church, Scannone agreed to an interview with the Open Insight editorial team in which, among other things, he talked about his academic training and his intellectual encounters with great personalities from the world of philosophy and theology, and offered his point of view on philosophy in Latin America.
